Is this for me?

Mary is a stay-at-home mum to two young children. She feels like her life is a constant blur of chasing kids and keeping the house in order, and looks forward to the end of the day when she can sit down and relax with her husband over dinner.

Mary has Day-to-Day Living Expenses Cover as part of her Living Insurance policy. She chose the $500 a week option. It certainly came in handy when she lost her balance and fell off a step ladder, hurting her back. She was out of action for six weeks, and couldn’t bend, lift or carry anything. Her mum helped out for the first couple of weeks, and then once her 14 day waiting period was over, Mary received her $500 weekly payment for the next four weeks.

Mary and her husband used the money to hire a cleaner, arrange for groceries to be home delivered, and pay for childcare for the children so Mary could rest properly and get better.
